Dear Parents and Players,

Well, we got one practice in last Saturday, the 2023/24 practice got underway but was not able to finish due to lightening.  Hoping for better weather this weekend and going forward.  Jesuit College Prep is located at 12345 Inwood Road Dallas, TX 75025 and this is the weekend that all teams get going.    

I did not bring the bags down there last weekend due to the wet weather, however, I am bringing them down rain or shine this weekend to hand off to coaches to pass out to the kids.  

Equipment Bags:

Anyone that ordered Equipment bags in Dallas listed below, they will be handed out at practice this weekend.  If you are not there, your coach will keep the remainder to pass out at subsequent practices.  When you are not at a practice where things are passed out, its always best to remind your coach at the next practice that he has something for you.  Some of you with siblings may get both bags at one practice.  Austin players that are playing in Dallas, your bags were shipped to Austin so you will need to pick them up at those practices!

Weather/Cancellations

Due to the unusual nature of our wet, wet weather of late I figured cancellations may be a topic that deserved highlighting in a email even though it was in the handbook.  Please follow @IronHorseLax on twitter for cancellation information.  If we can get an email out we will try, however, most of the time, when we need to cancel, we are already on the field and twitter is the easiest, fastest way to reach everyone from our phones.  You can sign up to receive tweets at texts to your phone from certain accounts and you may want to do this for the summer season.  If you can not figure out how to do this, I know your kids can but it is easy so you should not have to do that :)

Gear/Uniforms

Gear or Helmets:  If you ordered Gear or Helmets from the GraphTex online store this is just a reminder that they will be shipped directly to your house and I was told those items will be shipping next week from New York.

Uniforms:  They will arrive late next week then they have to be sorted.  I will give you a heads up when we will pass them out at practice.
