Dear Parents and Players,

Wow, I hope you got to watch all of the final 4 games this weekend.  What an absolute treat.  First I wanted to congratulate our players and friends that won.

Kellen Smaw from Greenhill won the D3 championship with Salisbury!  He played for our Dallas organization.

Tobin Miller from Woodlands won the D2 championship with Lenoir-Rhyne.  He played for our Houston organization.

Bryce Walker from Westlake won the D1 championship with Notre Dame today!  He played for our Austin organization.

This is the first time, we have had winners in all 3 mens championships!

Last but not least, close personal friend Ryan Wellner, Defensive coordinator for Notre Dame, had a very big win today in ND's first ever National Championship title.  We are soooo excited for him and the team.   If you are a high schooler signed up for T99 you will be happy to know he will still be here tomorrow in time for T99.

We also had alumni David Sprock, (Jesuit) play in the very prestigious North/South All Star game which runs as part of the NCAA final 4 weekend. Carl Sprock, his dad is also the coach of our 2031 Secretariat team in Dallas.

May Madness

May Madness had its own "first" this year.  We have never had to go the tie breaker of total goals scored in the championship game.  This year we had 3 players tied for 1st place in Dallas so we had to use that tie breaker rule (WHICH IS THE FINAL TIE BREAKER RULE!).

In Dallas Henry Schultis from 2031 Mongoose was our winner and he was also the winner overall.  He, Thomas Williams (2027) and Wil Fagan (2026) were tied at 50 points.  Henry picked the total goals scored as 20  in the championship game and that is what gave him the win.  Final score Notre Dame 13-Duke 9 for a total of 22 total goals scored in the championship game.

  • Dallas winner and overall winner is Henry Schultis (2031 Mongoose)
  • Austin winner is Diego Salinas (2028)
  • Houston winner is  Tyler Jeffcoat (2027)

Schedule This Week

Please see the schedule this week below.  Those of you that practice tomorrow (makeup from rainout) please note that T99 will still be going on when you arrive and to park in Anderson.

As with every practice, please do not pull in the grass field gate!  This is dangerous for our players and a facility rule.  Practices that are taking place tomorrow are on the grass fields.  T99 has the turf until close to 7pm.

Regards,

Tiffany Surran
