Dear Iron Horse Players and Parents,

I haven't gotten a final tournament email from the LSS yet but here is most of the information you will need for the weekend.  If the tournament sends anything else I will forward that on to you.

Rosters:  I have submitted rosters for the event as well for the weekend.  They were not asked for by the tournament, but since I do not have access to see who has completed the player waivers, I am just dotting my i's and crossing my t's.  We had an issue this past weekend with players playing for more than one team in a tournament without our knowledge and officially only being rostered (by process of the waiver) on Iron Horse and not the other team.  Because my waivers were all complete we were in the clear and the other team got in trouble for playing illegal players.  Since you also have the laminated roster cards, I also think those could be shown in the event there are issues.  

Field Map:  As soon as we have this map I will post to the Groupme.  

I sent a long email directly to everyone via my computer (email linked below) and not the website today about the Gamechanger App.  First and foremost, it is not my intention to replace the Groupme for team communication until summer since we are in the middle of tournament season.  

I feel strong enough about this app to introduce it in the midst of our tournament season because I think it will be a great asset to our organization moving forward so I have worked hard to onboard all Austin and Dallas youth teams in the last week to the platform.  

What am I going to need from you?  

• Accept the email invite sent from Lisa Kirkpatrick from Gamechanger that was sent today.  
• Set up your account.
• Add your players jersey number by clicking on his name in the roster and then edit, enter his number and save (this is a key step to how the app works)
• WE NEED A VOLUNTEER VIDEOGRAPHER AND SCORE KEEPER FROM EACH TEAM.  PLEASE EMAIL ME!

After I get those volunteers I can get you onboarded with Lisa Kirkpatrick and Gamechanger.  

We may have rain again, but this time, on Saturday, so please pay attention to the Tourney Machine App for changes.  

Also, sadly this is usually the tournament where we have College Gameday playing at the field with the TV, generator, tent city and all the things but that is not looking good right now for Saturday which is a bummer.  If anything should change I will let you know.  If we do the big tailgate at this tournament like we have done in the past, I just have one request and that is that everyone bring food/drink to share.  Last year we had 50% of teams bring stuff and then the other 50% of teams didn't bring anything.  

Sorry I owe a lot of people response emails from the last 36 hours but I really had to focus on Gamechanger in hopes of being ready for the weekend.
