Master Schedule

You will follow the yellow highlights in the schedule for your graduation year.  The link above is right on the home page of the website so you can access it at any time.  

Positional Skills

Positional Skills are a separate registration as indicated in your Welcome to the Team email.  Positional Skills are open to the public and it’s completely up to you if you would like to add them.  Youth Positional Skills are for 5th-8th graders only and are highlighted in Orange on the spreadsheet.  You can register for those here:  https://ironhorselax.sportngin.com/register/form/958500253

Parking

Please see the attached campus map.  The best parking area for the grass and baseball field is Anderson Lot which is across Willow.  The best parking area for the turf field is the main parking area nearest the school.  The road that leads directly to the grass fields from Inwood is for STAFF ONLY.  It is unsafe for parents or anyone else to drive their cars into this area even for dropoff.  Please do not ever pull your car back there and please respect this Jesuit school rule!

Team Managers/Coaches and Team Groupme

After I send this, I will share the roster with emails to coaches and team managers.  I am asking them to forward this same email to you because I send so many emails, I deal with my emails going to spam and junk or getting blocked.  Please add tsurran@ironhorselax.com to your favorites to help with this issue.  Team Managers are being asked to forward my weekly email in the form of a link to you each week, along with the weekly team schedule and any other pertinent information.  I will let team managers share the roster with positions as well.  They do not have the number assignments yet, but I will send those next week for them to share.  

****Parents please use your coach and team manager contacts if your player can not make practices or games or to ask team specific questions***** 

Groupme:  I have a love-hate relationship with it for sure, but it is by far the easiest platform for me to communicate from on the go.  I needed to stream line this and half the teams using team snap while half use Groupme was not working on my end.  I use the Groupme to post last minute messages when you are in a tournament, or if there is lightning at practice, last minute cancellation, etc.  If you need to communicate with me directly, please use my email tsurran@ironhorselax.com as the best method.  Being on so many different groupme’s means that I don’t usually see messages sent through the app or that I will see individual group posts that are directed towards me.  Links to join your team Groupme are below:

Iron Horse Lacrosse Bags:

Optional Iron Horse Lacrosse bags…..The bag options are the Mega Bag, or the Lax Pack in Navy.  These bags are great for air travel but the Mega is the only one that will fit a short shaft.  I can't say enough about these bags.  In the 15 years of organizing lacrosse teams, I can honestly say this is the only vendor I have not changed and I have changed ALOT of vendors over the years.  FYI, the Lax Pack in Navy is out of stock until mid September but if ordered will ship out once it arrives.

FAQ’S

Q How can I add an email to get these website notifications?

A Unfortunately, I can not do that for you, the person that registered, needs to log in to the Iron Horse website at www.ironhorselax.com and check their communication preferences in settings.  I will tell you that it's not a perfect system and that is why we have team managers push out information and we are implementing the team Groupme.  

Q When will we find out our jersey #?  

A Next week!

Q When will our uniforms be in?

A Approximately 6 weeks

Q How do we get our uniforms?

A They are handed out at practice; if you miss that particular practice, team managers or coaches will keep the uniforms that do not get distributed.

Q Can we see the new uniform artwork?

A Yes next week.  We have to approve the sample that was made for us first which is supposed to arrive today.

Q How do we get our Vineyard Vines Belt we ordered during registration?

A They will be given out with uniform items.  If you would like them any earlier, I can also get them to you at your second practice after Labor Day.

Q Can we still get a Vineyard Vines belt?

A Yes, they are available in the Team Lax store.  

Q Who do I notify if I can not be at a practice or game?

A your coaches and team managers but please make sure your coaches are aware.
