May Madness Winners!

Congrats to Aiden Ferguson, Dallas 2026, on a perfect bracket with 52 total points!  Our Austin winner is 2033 Colin Voss and our Houston winner is 2030 Hudson Rich.  Each city will be in touch with their winners and prizes.

Update after Quarter Finals

Congrats to Aiden Ferguson who still has a perfect bracket after the quarter finals with 32 points!  

Colin Voss from Austin is our current Austin leader with 24 points. 

Dylan Gibbons is our Houston leader with 22 points.  

The most picked win from the quarter finals was Maryland.   The second most picked team was Rutgers.  

The semis are worth 6 points and championship game is worth 8. 

Only shown below, those that have a cumulative total of 20 or more points.

The final update will be when the winners are announced next Tuesday!

Update After First Round: May 16th

Aiden Ferguson Dallas 2026 is our only perfect bracket after round 1! 

2 other participants picked the Delaware upset from last night, Zachary Johnson Dallas 2025 and RJ Gerlach Austin 2028.    The last 4 minutes of the Delaware come from behind win over Georgetown is on the NCAA website and youtube if you missed it.  

This one will be interesting down the stretch as those that may have scored high on this round picked Georgetown to go all the way or at least into the championship game.  It's anyones contest at this point!  Here is a list of anyone that scored 10 or higher after round 1:

Please print the attached bracket and send back according to the instructions below.  1 entry per player, no parent entries accepted.  If you have trouble downloading and printing the bracket above it is easy to find on the web by Googling  "2022 NCAA Mens Division 1 Lacrosse Bracket".

SEND COMPLETED BRACKETS TO tsurran@ironhorselax.com by Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 am CST.

BRACKET MUST CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

Very Important on the form you MUST Include:

1.  Player first and last name (legibly and not near the edges where it may get cut off when printing)

2.  Dallas, Austin or Houston

3.  Team Name i.e. 2023, 2024, etc.

4.  Total number of points scored in the championship game

            The 9th Annual May Madness – make your picks and get ready to enjoy a great 2022 Tournament. For Player’s Only!!  Parent entries not accepted.

 

            The tie breakers for May Madness are as follows:

 

                        Picked Champion

 

                        Most Teams in Final 4

 

                        Closest Prediction to Total Goals in Final Game

 

  • Give your completed list of winners to tsurran@ironhorselax.com by no later than 10:00 am on Saturday, May 14th. Remember, you must pick for all games at this time (play in games are not counted).  Also, you must predict the total goals in the championship game (for tie-breaking purposes).  Good luck!

 

            1st Round       -             2 points for each correct pick

            Quarter Round   -       4 points for each correct pick

            Semi Round     -             6 points for each correct pick

            Finals Round   -             8 points for correct pick

 

There will be prizes for winners in each city, Austin, Dallas and Houston.
